Steel generator enclosure with exhaust silencers and access ladder outside an industrial building.

Genset enclosures engineered against the acoustic and availability specification set by the facility.

Standby power for a data centre is judged on two things the enclosure directly affects: whether it holds the site's noise limit at the boundary, and whether it starts and transfers load inside the availability window the facility has committed to.

Engineering notes

What we've actually thought about here

  • Attenuator and louvre design is coordinated with airflow requirement, so acoustic performance doesn't come at the cost of genset derating.
  • Fuel containment and bunding is built to the tank arrangement you specify, not a generic default.
  • Access door and panel layout is designed for the maintenance clearance in the OEM's own service manual, not a standard door position.
